Experience
- I have worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner since 2023.
- I describe my practice style as adaptive, behaviour-focused, collaborative, evidence-based, family-centred, goal-oriented, interactive and person-centred, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time drawing, learning new skills, painting, reading, trying new things and with family or friends which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as compassionate, engaging and understanding, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
What I like most in supporting people with disability is how much I learn from the people I support. Every interaction and connection with them and the people around them bring new challenges and experiences. I enjoy connecting with the person and their families and finding more ways for them in getting the most out of life.
