Experience
- I have worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner since 2024.
- I describe my practice style as adaptive, behaviour-focused, collaborative, culturally responsive, developmental, empowering, evidence-based, family-centred, functional, goal-oriented, holistic, interactive, motivational, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, practical, sensory-informed, skill-building, strengths-based and trauma-informed, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time swimming, taking photos and travelling which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as energetic, inclusive and proactive, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
Being able to connect over lived experience (as relevant) and reframing the notion of Positive Behaviour Support as being a positive service to empower, accept, and recognise people with disabilities and their support networks.
