Experience

  • I have worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner since 2025.
  • I describe my practice style as collaborative, holistic and play-based, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
  • In my free time, I like to spend time camping, going to live music gigs and painting which often helps me build rapport with participants.
  • My participants often describe me as creative, friendly and reliable, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.

What I like most about supporting people:

I have over 17 years of experience supporting children, young people, and adults in a range of settings, including early childhood services, primary schools, specialist programs, and community support environments. Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel seen, valued, and capable of achieving their goals, no matter their age or background.

I’ve worked as an Educational Leader in early learning, guiding teams to create inclusive, play-based programs that nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. I’ve also supported individuals in primary and specialist schools, developing creative, hands-on programs and working alongside teachers, therapists, and families to help each person reach their potential.

What I love most about my work is getting to know people as individuals - their personalities, interests, and what truly makes them light up. I enjoy finding ways to support each person to build confidence, discover their passions, and live a life that feels meaningful to them.

I’m currently studying towards my Occupational Therapy degree, building on my experience to better support people of all ages to live as independently, confidently, and joyfully as possible.
