Experience
- I have worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2020.
- I describe my practice style as collaborative, empowering, evidence-based, goal-oriented, holistic, interactive, motivational, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, practical, skill-building, social skills-focused and task-oriented, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time camping, gardening, going to live music gigs, staying fit, swimming, travelling and with my dog which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as approachable, calm, collaborative, empathetic, engaging, friendly, fun, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, motivational, positive, understanding and warm, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
What I like most about supporting people with a disability is being able to make a real difference in their lives, especially in their own homes where they feel comfortable and themselves. It's rewarding to help people live more independently and be able to learn about each individuals stories to understand how we can help and advocate for their needs.
