Experience
- I have worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2018.
- I describe my practice style as adaptive, behaviour-focused, collaborative, culturally responsive, developmental, empowering, evidence-based, family-centred, functional, goal-oriented, holistic, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, play-based, practical, sensory-informed, skill-building, task-oriented and trauma-informed, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time reading, swimming, travelling, trying new things, watching movies, watching TV Shows, with family or friends, with my cat and with my dog which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as empathetic, organised and reliable, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
I love how in disability not one strategy fits all. I love the fact therapy needs to be tailored to reflect the client’s needs to ensure client-centred care.
