Experience

  • I have worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2024.
  • I describe my practice style as adaptive, person-centred and strengths-based, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
  • In my free time, I like to spend time fishing, playing team sports and with family or friends which often helps me build rapport with participants.
  • My participants often describe me as adaptable, engaging and trustworthy, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.

What I like most about supporting people:

What I like most about supporting people with disability is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives by fostering independence, confidence, and inclusion. I enjoy building genuine connections, understanding each person’s unique strengths, and helping them achieve their goals in a way that aligns with their interests and abilities. Seeing the progress, whether it’s developing new skills, overcoming challenges, or simply creating positive experiences, makes the work incredibly rewarding. I also value the dynamic and hands-on nature of the role, as it allows me to adapt, learn, and grow alongside the people I support.
