Experience
- I have worked as a Provisional Psychologist since 2025.
- I describe my practice style as adaptive, behaviour-focused, collaborative, culturally responsive, developmental, empowering, evidence-based, goal-oriented, holistic, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred and trauma-informed, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time bushwalking, playing a musical instrument, playing sport, reading, running, songwriting, travelling and video gaming which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as adaptable, approachable, calm, collaborative, compassionate, creative, curious, dedicated, empathetic, encouraging, engaging, flexible, friendly, fun, goal-oriented, inclusive, kind, organised, proactive, reliable, respectful, thoughtful, trustworthy, understanding and warm, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
The greatest thing for me supporting people in the NDIS is witnessing the positive impact of achieving goals on a participant's life. Whether that's being able to better access the community because of a well-needed mobility aid, being able to effectively regulate their emotions in trying times or simply make their own cup of coffee in the morning - being able to provide that support is such a privilege and it's really amazing to see how life changing it is for participants in their day-to-day.
