Experience

  • I have worked with people with disability since 2016.
  • I describe my practice style as collaborative, holistic and practical, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
  • In my free time, I like to spend time learning new skills, reading and with my dog which often helps me build rapport with participants.
  • My participants often describe me as approachable, cheerful and respectful, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.

What I like most about supporting people:

I am passionate about understanding people beyond their presenting behaviours, abilities, or circumstances. I value building strong, trusting relationships and am committed to advocating for the rights of individuals while supporting them to achieve greater choice, independence, and quality of life. I find great reward in exploring the underlying factors that influence behaviour and working collaboratively with individuals, families, and support networks to develop meaningful, person-centred strategies that create positive and lasting change. My approach is grounded in respect, empathy, and a genuine belief in each person's capacity to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
