Experience
- I have worked with people with disability since 2016.
- I describe my practice style as adaptive, interactive and play-based, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time cooking, reading and swimming which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as cheerful, compassionate and inclusive, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
Building genuine connections and finding creative ways to support each person to feel safe, understood and successful. I particularly enjoy using play-based learning, sensory activities and hands-on experiences to encourage engagement, communication and skill development. I love getting to know what motivates each person, understanding the reasons behind their behaviour, and creating positive experiences that support their individual needs, choices and strengths. Seeing someone build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy being involved in activities they love is what I find most rewarding
