Experience
- I have worked with people with disability since 2024.
- I describe my practice style as adaptive, collaborative, developmental, functional, goal-oriented, motivational, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, practical, skill-building, strengths-based and task-oriented, tailoring my approach to meet each participant's unique needs.
- In my free time, I like to spend time going to live music gigs, playing board games, playing sport, reading, video gaming, watching movies, watching TV Shows, with family or friends and with my cat which often helps me build rapport with participants.
- My participants often describe me as approachable, calm, compassionate, empathetic, engaging, fun, kind, patient and thoughtful, reflecting my commitment to creating a supportive environment.
What I like most about supporting people:
I enjoy building genuine rapport and meaningful connections with each participant and there supports. I value taking the time, understanding what is important to them, and what gives their life meaning. I love working towards goals that are meaningful to the individual, whether that relates to independence, community participation or daily living skills.
